Why I am doing this:

I am very excited to be a part of 5 Days for the Homeless. Last year, I admired the people that were doing it and this year I can do my part in raising awareness–especially in cold, brutal Calgary winters. If we can nip this in the butt and have less youth on the streets, there will be less suffering people on the streets of Calgary.

What will be the hardest part?

The hardest part will for sure be the inability to eat whenever I want, and the quality of food. I really don't what to expect, especially early in the morning and late at night when there is no one to give us food.

What I will miss the most:

Mostly, I will miss the things that we consider basic but really aren't–such as a phone or computer. Without this, it will be hard to communicate with my friends. The other thing would for sure be the lack of hygiene, especially under so many layers and long cold nights when a hot shower would feel amazing.
