Britt Kafka

I am in my fourth year of Kinesiology, hoping to pursue further education within the rehab sciences. I am currently both a participant and instructor for Laurier Dance, and have also been involved with athletics by working at the Hawk Desk. I have also been highly involved as an Ice Breaker, and a member of the Kinesiology Games Team.

Why I am doing this:

After engaging with participants in previous years, I saw the 5 days campaign as a rewarding and challenging experience. After seeing the impact being a participant had on the individuals and others, I wanted to be able to have the opportunity to give back to the community in this unique way.

What will be the hardest part?

I think the hardest part of the experience will be having to rely on other people for simple daily tasks that I’m used to being in control of, such as when I can eat, and when I wake up.

What I will miss the most:

I think what I’m going to miss the most is having my own personal space to go back to when I want.

Where to find me
